April Roundup – Studio Mayhem, Radio Spins & a New Single on the Way!

April was a full-on month here in the Dead Reynolds camp – packed with rehearsals, studio chaos, gig prep, and a few cheeky moments in between.

We’ve been locking in everything ready for a massive summer: smashing out rehearsal after rehearsal (yes, we broke stuff – no regrets), playing around with new gear, and tightening the setlist. We’ve also been cooking up some fresh merch designs featuring our epic new logo – wait ‘til you see the caps 👀

COUNT ME OUT – OUR NEW SINGLE DROPS 16TH MAY

We are so excited for this one: our new single Count Me Out officially lands on all platforms Thursday 16th May. It’s loud, gritty, and full of fire – everything you’d expect from us and more.

Let’s talk about Count Me Out – because this one’s more than just a tune. It’s a statement. A realisation. A wake-up call.

This track dives into the raw feeling of being overlooked, constantly putting others first, and hiding behind a smile that doesn’t match how you really feel. It’s about that moment when the mask slips – and suddenly, everything changes. You're looking in the mirror trying to find resilience, trying to claw your way out while everyone else seems to move on without you.

It’s personal. It’s powerful. And it slaps.

But we haven’t just poured emotion into it – we’ve dialled the energy all the way up. Count Me Out brings a more upbeat, driven and determined sound for us – packed with pulse-racing guitars and an anthemic chorus made to be screamed live.

This track is built for the stage, and it hits like thunder in our live set.

Buzzing doesn’t even cover it – Count Me Out got its first spin on Amazing Radio! Hearing our track on the airwaves, especially before it’s even officially released, is always surreal – massive thanks to the DJs and the listeners for getting behind it. Every play, every shoutout, every message – it all helps us keep doing what we love.
